1. About GymRecycle

GymRecycle sells and sources second-hand fitness and sporting equipment in the UK.

2. Used equipment

Most GymRecycle stock is used. Normal signs of previous ownership may therefore be present. We aim to describe the condition of each item fairly and to use photographs of the actual item offered for sale.

3. Product descriptions and specifications

We aim to make listings accurate. Where dimensions, weights, age or specifications cannot be independently verified, they may be approximate or based on manufacturer information, markings on the item or reasonable measurement. If a particular specification is important to you, ask us before purchasing.

4. Condition and testing

A listing may state that an item has been checked or tested. This describes the checks GymRecycle actually carried out and is not a manufacturer warranty. Any known material fault identified during our checks should be disclosed in the listing.

5. Availability and unique stock

Many used items are unique. Availability is therefore subject to prior sale. A listing appearing on the website does not guarantee that the item remains available until the order or reservation has been accepted.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery is not included unless the listing expressly says otherwise. Online payments may be processed securely through Stripe. GymRecycle may also agree another lawful payment method for a particular transaction.

7. Buy / Reserve

A Buy / Reserve button may lead to a Stripe payment page. Where delivery needs to be quoted separately, please agree the delivery arrangements with GymRecycle before paying unless the listing clearly states that delivery is included.

8. Collection

Collection may be available for suitable items. The collection location and timing will be agreed directly with the buyer. Buyers should ensure they have suitable transport and loading arrangements.

9. Delivery

London delivery is available on many items for an agreed fee. The amount depends on the item, postcode, access, distance and practical handling requirements. Delivery outside London may be possible by arrangement but is not guaranteed.

For large or heavy equipment, buyers must disclose relevant access information such as stairs, narrow entrances, parking restrictions or other obstacles before delivery is agreed.

10. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law. Where a purchase is made at a distance and statutory cancellation rights apply, GymRecycle will comply with those rights.

11. Returns and problems

If an item is materially different from its description, faulty in a way that was not disclosed, or you believe you have a statutory right to reject or return it, contact [email protected] promptly with the stock number and details of the issue.

12. Selling equipment to GymRecycle

Submitting the Sell Your Equipment form does not oblige GymRecycle to buy an item and does not create a contract. Any offer is subject to review and, where appropriate, inspection.

By offering an item, you confirm that you are entitled to sell it and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. GymRecycle may decline equipment for any lawful reason, including condition, safety, storage, transport, demand or resale value.

13. Valuations

Any valuation or estimated resale range provided by GymRecycle is an estimate only. Used-equipment prices vary with condition, location, demand, completeness and the time available to sell. A valuation is not a guarantee that an item will sell at that price and is not necessarily an offer by GymRecycle to purchase the item.

14. Request an Item

Submitting an item request does not guarantee that GymRecycle will find the requested equipment or that any future item will meet the requested price, specification or timescale.

15. Sportswear and footwear

GymRecycle may offer selected used sportswear and footwear. We do not knowingly sell counterfeit goods. Condition, sizing and any significant wear should be described where known.

16. Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, remove or correct listings and website information where necessary.
